TRADITION. COMPASSION. SOLUTION.
At Asiana Wellness, our passion is to help you become the best version of yourself. We do this using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) with a modern therapeutic approach. Our mission is to empower your body’s own natural ability to heal, restore balance, and enhance the quality of your life.
We will never use one-size-fits-all remedy for you. Because healing is an art and collaboration, we take the time to understand your whole mind, body, and spirit to customize treatments for your condition. Our principal healing modalities are:
Traditional Chinese medicine has been in continuous practice for more than 3,000 years and its popularity is expanding globally. The World Health Organization has implemented The WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy 2014–2023 to strengthen the role traditional medicine plays in keeping populations healthy. In China alone, the traditional Chinese medicine industry is valued at over 121 billion US dollars, and comprises 1/3 of the total medical industry (source: Xinhua News Agency, 9/6/2016).
At Asiana Wellness, our focus is to shift the paradigm of how traditional Chinese medicine is viewed in the US.
In the States, many patients seek TCM as the last resort after their illnesses have gone through unsuccessful rounds of Western medicine and other treatments. Conversely, in China, and other countries like Korea and Singapore, TCM is integrated into the modern health care system and it is often the first stop for patients at the onset of the initial symptom. It is customary for many patients in Asia to schedule annual wellness appointments with TCM doctors—a practice, we, at Asiana Wellness, recommend for our own patients.
Prevention is the hallmark of traditional Chinese medicine. Our modalities will restore balance and high function before the pathways, cells, and organs break down. If the break down has already occurred, we can help you return to wellness by activating the power of healing within you. At Asiana Wellness, we treat a wide variety of conditions with customized therapies. Our vision is that traditional Chinese medicine will be integrated into the modern health care system in the US and the patients will maintain their health with both TCM and Western medicine.
